well, just had some yummy food for my dinner.


which included chilied cuttlefish, steamed fish and lotus soup.


pretty ordinary and blah, you might say.


but never. ever. ever underestimate the power of homecooked meals.


besides being healthier and much more tastier(as i can add more salt if i want),


homecooked meals require talent and patience, injected with the right amount of love(:


unlike hawker meals sometime, where those owners sloppily scoop out your food and lazily cook it, adding too much, or too little salt or giving you tiny teeny portions of food that costs as much as a japanese meal.


call me a contradictionist, but not ALL the hawker stalls are like that. i am merely stating some incidents that left me with a bad taste in my mouth- other than that, i love hawker food just as much as anyone would :D





so anyway, my dad has like, 30 over cartons of some cute m&m sunshield car window thingy at home now.


cors apparently m&m ordered the sunshields but then cancelled the order. so his company got all the cartons and my mom's giving them out to her colleagues and all now.


but no, sorry i dont think i can give you some. seeing as you may mostly be my age, in which we do not own cars yet. and i dont think i can give you those freebies for your parents car.


unless i know them well(i mean, really well) then i would generously provide (:


but i just wanted to tell you how fun they are to play with!


my dad just brought out some samples to show my mom the designs,


and they are mucho mucho cute.


it has even one that shows the big fat blue m&m containg a peanut saying :" i have become even more tasty than you can imagine"

oh ya, i was saying that they were fun to play with cors, as you all know how those sunshield thingys work, they(the metal frame) are super flexible and bendable.

and it was fun.

it was a pleasant experience and
i had ben&jerry's too! (:

btw- when the shops are done, check out these two places at the cathy on the fourth floor!

it actually is.
it sells different types of unqiuely pretty handmade plates cups and many more.
imported in from bali.
made me broke two fingernails.
so it's definately worth going.
even if you dont get anything from there.

second, cafe clique.
it's a kewl cafe place where classic(?) music will be playing and complete with bookshelves and cd racks.
that is the place you and your clique would want to hang out at.
not to mention,
there's this 'garden' place just outside the cafe, where you can take in the view while sitting comfy-ly on the couch, sharing the latest gossip.
and. if it helps,
ben and jerry is justtwo floors down, while the cinema's one floor up.
make it your stopover or whatever.

then bought take away food and went back home to stare dreamily at brandon routh.
(we were watching superman returns. lol.)

oh. have not been blogging for such a long time.
didn't really have the time.

just watched CSI (final episode?)
and it was real interesting!
it was about how nick got kipnapped into this glass coffin that no one knows where it is
and he's trapped in there with limited air supply or somewhat.
his teammates worked hard to solve this puzzle on his whereabouts b4 it's too late.
when they were pretty close to the clue,
nick got attacked by ants that bite (fire ants, anyone?)
and that makes the wait that nick is doing more sufferable.
the ants were like biting him all over his body. face, pants, hands.. i mean everywhere!
but nick hanged on tough, til finally thay managed to dig him out.
but, as this is CSI, this isn't always a happy ending.
no, nick didn't die.
although a new challenge arrived that left nick suffering for a minute more or something.
there were pressure explosive charges under that coffin.
however, he got out and survived in the end. yays (:

had dance today.
as usual, by 11am, was completely exhausted.
thank goodness mrs chng heard the voices of the tired people and slacken, abit.
then, just when i thought we could relax, i was wrong. as usual.
she did some carrying stunts with us.
and.. it was pretty uncomfortable for some reason cuz she was pulling me up and all.
but, the good news is that in the partner work, i managed to jump onto jon's shoulder and.. it sounds weird from here so i'm not gonna continue.

10.33- takes a break as i help my mom with her props.
10.46- finally back. shall continue:

after dance, lingered in the toilet for awhile to gush out some stuff..
then rushed off to cityhall to meet this person.
bought 2 cool tops.
then i had a problem.
i was gonna meet her inside cityhall mrt station.
so then i wouldn't be going out at all, and so i'd be buying a standard ticket from clementi to.. clementi?
i didn't know if it was possible or not so i decided not to risk it.
so i bought to commonwealth instead cuz i had a direct bus from there and i didn't really mind.
but! the problem was i soooooo stupidily boarded my bus on the opposite direction(i have a lousy sense of direction)
and ended up in outram.
so i alighted and crossed over to the bus stop to get the right bus home.
at the right bus stop, i figured things were'nt so bad.
but i could not believe that i had to wait at that freaking hot bus stop with flies and smoke for like, half an hour til that idiotic bus arrived.
i finally boarded and off i set home!
but the journey was like 30 mins.
i swear, i became a stone statue aLOT of times today.
argh. stupid public transport.
i'm sooo getting my own car and chaffuer to drive.
or hire a full-time cab uncle.
whatever. as long as i don't have to wait again for the damn bus.

fine fine, you've heard me rant.
and all my irritation for the bus has been slightly subdued.

yesterday, yesterday
spent the night at mel's house with jia'en too.
jia en found my twin(lol?) as we had bubble tea with jelly thingys in them.
then later, mel brought in the laptop and so we started surfing some stuff..
online shopping anyone?
oh and later, we went sorta crazy while chatting with minhan on msn
till we were all snatching at the com.
AND we were so actively snatching it that the com got off-ed
also, the bed was spilt into and jia en fell in the hole.
lol.
after that high period, we fell asleep and woke up..
ate breakfast, thanks mel, and then went off to shcool.
was so tired in school that i was sleeping away in most classes/

had dance also during the afternoon.
did mr peh's dance steps and also partnerwork.
afer dance, found out i was fevering quite abit.
so didn't go for chem tuition, sorry jy.
i was like, gagging during my walk home.
finally ended my misery as i went straight to sleep and only waking up to take me med. (grossssss)
slept till today.

and thats all that happened.
nothing eventful but yeah.

had a blast today!
not at school though, it was rountinely boring. lol
mrs goh told me my skirt length was short by half a inch and i was like,

anyways, what made the day fun was went we meet chia lynn!
that's when all the cool things started happeneing!

met her, talked and laughed and laughed.
then we went to this SAM to take pamplets.
there were so many to take.
lol.
aafter that, went to SMu to check out this cheerleading thing.
they were practicing.
and we were doing some dance there too.

so later- we went to the cathy and stopped at ben&jerry's to get chia's ice cream
WHEN
we met these real cool peeps.
they had a super super ginormous tube of mixed ben&jerry's to celebrate a friend's(nazri) bday.
lol. they invited us to help them finish it,
and the surprising thing, we did!
we joined them and soon we started talking and all.
they were niceee people, plus friendly too.
then we played this spinning game to help finish the ice cream faster.
fun fun. lol
hahas. so glad to haf met them!
well, happy birthday, nazri! (the guy with two mouth pierces!lol.)
