i was just browsing when i read it and found out that it explains what i've been tryna know for a looong time. so here it is-

Why does my body jerk when I am falling asleep?
Ever been just about to drift off into a blissfully deep sleep when suddenly you feel like you are falling, and your body jerks in shock? What you have experienced is called a 'hypnic jerk'. This often occurs during very light sleep, when your body temperature drops - your heart slows down and your conscious brain gradually relinquishes control of your muscles. The general consensus is that this brain activity can make your larger muscles contract, and that, as your body twitches, another part of your brain invents a 'mini-dream' in which you are falling off a cliff, for example. So, next time you wake up with a 'sleep start', just remember it's simply your body's way of telling your muscles to chill out!

yeah. that basically explains it. why we feel like we're falling when we're not. some people say its the spirits pulling us down.. but there ya go.
a logical scientific explanation. (:

today was so bored in school that i just HAD to sleep in ms ng's class.
hey. everyone was sleeping too *shrugs*
i dunno why.. im losing focus in classes like physics.
i just dont get what mr tan is trying to say. i know he has something to teach us.. but what is it?
i now conclude my FAVOURITE subject of 2006-
